Rules of Play:
Objective: The goal of Mancala is to collect the most stones by the end of the game.
Setup:
The board consists of two rows of six pits (small cups) each, with a larger store (also called Mancala) at each end.
Each player sits with their Mancala on their right.
Four stones are placed in each of the twelve small pits.
Gameplay:
Players take turns. On your turn, choose one of the six pits on your side of the board and pick up all the stones from that pit.
Moving counterclockwise, place one stone in each subsequent pit, including your own Mancala, but skip your opponent's Mancala.
If the last stone you drop lands in your Mancala, you get to take another turn.
If the last stone you drop lands in an empty pit on your side, you capture that stone and any stones in the opposite pit, placing all captured stones into your Mancala.
Ending the Game: The game ends when all six pits on one side of the board are empty. The player with stones remaining in their pits collects them and places them in their Mancala.
Winning: The player with the most stones in their Mancala at the end of the game wins.
